Rock-Hill’s First Baptist Church Invites Patients with Dental Problems

dental clinic freePeople that do not have health insurance and have to pay for dental care have received a chance to get free dental services at Rock-Hill’s First Baptist Church. This free dental clinic is supposed to serve 1,500 patients who experience certain oral health conditions and dental problems. Friday and Saturday are the days when 300 dental professionals and a lot of volunteers will help people to get proper dental care. It is great news for people who could not get proper dental care for a long time.

Today is the first day when people can come to visit this dental clinic and they are rather grateful as they do not have time to visit any clinic because of their job or others household duties. It is turning vivid that politicians at all levels need to create access to basic dental services for those people in need. This free dental clinic is the first in Rock Hill and, thanks to the S.C. Dental Association, people living in this area can get these dental services. It’s a pity that access to professional dental services will only be granted to adults. Besides, health professionals and regional dentists are happy to participate is this sort of activities.

All people coming are being checked to see what sort of care they need and what can be done. Besides, some regional businesses have also decided to assist with the associated supplies and equipment. There are more than 80 dentist chairs in the Church and there are also rooms for such dental procedures as x-rays, cleanings, extractions and fillings. The gym appeared to be arranged as a pre-screening center.

Some people that visit this free dental clinic haven’t been to a dentist for 14 years and this clinic, of course, will help them return to healthy living. The clinic will run on Friday and Saturday and you need to know the time to visit it.
