Free Dental Assistance on Maine: Dentists who Care for ME

The Dentists who Care for ME program was started 11 years ago. The purpose of the program is to offer free dental assistance once a year all over the state of Maine. The idea to volunteer and offer their time and services to help others was materialized when dentist Dr. Demi Kouzounas and dentist Dr. Barry Saltz of Scarborough, organized Portland-area dentists and specialists to volunteer their services for people in need.

In 11 years the program together with the support of the Maine Dental Association, has helped more than four thousand adults in need of dental help.
