Children Free Dental Care to be Offered at Groton Central Schools in Groton, NY

Groton Central Schools located at: 400 Peru Road . Groton, NY, in association with Finger Lakes Community Health will be offering free dental care to students raginf form Kinder throught 12th grade. The service will be provided in the Elementary and High School buildings of the school, specifically in the nurse’s office.
Although the definite date has not been defined, it should be in the next weeks. Students of Groton Central Schools will be notified in advance with the details
The dental care provided includes:
- examination (checking for cavities and/or gum disease)
- dental screening
- toothbrush, floss and oral hygiene instructions
- teeth cleaning
- fluoride treatment
- X-rays
- sealants (a covering to protect the teeth from decay and cavities)
- fillings
