Morris County Veterans Get Low-Cost Dental Services

Veterans usually experience certain difficulties in receiving dental care and the most popular one is the shortage of financial resource to afford all the needed dental services. That is why the Morris County Outpatient Veterans Administration Clinic located in Morris Township will provide low cost dental services to veterans who are living in Morris, Warren and Sussex counties.
The clinic will be open to veterans on Sept. 28, Oct. 5 and Oct. 26 and all the veterans in pain will have a chance to see the Highlands Health Van which will be parked at the address of 340 West Hanover Avenue, close to the VA Clinic. The registration started several months ago but still there is a lot of availability for Oct. 26. Moreover, the clinic will arrange more days for affordable dental services to render in November and December.
The project is 2 years old and it appeared to be rather popular among veterans. It is the result of the strong cooperation between the Veterans Administration and Zufall Health. The first visit is completely free and any veteran will have a chance to get such services as dental polishing, fluoride treatment and dental screening exam. If there is a need in further treatment, dentists will schedule the following visits for patients.
They will not need to pay the full cost of the services and discounted rates will be presented as well. Moreover, veterans from Flemington, Dover and Morristown will get affordable services in the dental offices of Zufall Health. For these two years of practice, the project appeared to be a great success and the main reason for it is that it is designated for veterans that do not have dental insurance and cannot afford the services at private clinics. Those veterans who are interested in dental services can call and make an appointment.
