Several Days Needed to Renew Your Tooth Enamel

Toothpaste that is worth ten pounds is promising to rebuild 82 percent of the tooth enamel after three days of use. Unilever revealed its new Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste that contains sodium phosphate and calcium silicate. The company said that it has been proven effective in regenerating a layer of white enamel on the teeth. The company is selling the expensive toothpaste as a beauty product along with its other costly creams and potions.
The toothpaste aids in forming a new supply of minerals that wrap and integrate into the surface of the teeth. It works like re-plastering a wall by filling the microscopic holes made by sugary foods and carbonated drinks. The end result is a strong, smooth enamel finish.
Unilever claims that it restores the teeth to their original whiteness and at the same time making them stronger. They will be less likely to develop cavities soon. The company said that the technology needs the use of a Boosting Serum treatment that costs £30. The boosting serum must be used once a month and applied with the use of custom-fit mouth trays.
Unilever released the new product as a beauty product and will be available from the Boots chain starting June 11. Unilever said that 80 percent of common teeth problems are caused by enamel erosion and acid attacks. The erosion happens to everyone and caused by eating fruits and vegetables, juices and wines, and carbonated drinks. Once the enamel is lost, it can’t be regenerated by the body on its own.
The product is the first system that is able to reverse the early stages of the erosion and regenerate enamel with the same mineral of the tooth enamel. The technology has been developed at the Unilever research and development lab at Port Sunlight, Milan and Shanghai.
