Free Dental Clinic at the Minneapolis Convention Center Sept. 7 and 8
Minnesota Mission of Mercy and its sponsors will be setting up a free dental clinic at the Minneapolis Convention Center located at: 1301 Second Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55403
Dentists and assistants will be coordinated by the Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation
With the invaluable help of more than 1,600 volunteers (dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, dental therapists and even translators) the aim is to take care of more than 2,000 low income and un-insured patients in need of dental care.

The two day event is open to adults and children. registration is required and possibly long waits are expected but rest assured that no ID or personal information will be requested.
Patients will be served on a first come first served basis. Each day 1,000 patients will be served so we suggest you arrive early. Doors open at 5:30 AM and close at 5 PM.
Procedures include:
- cleanings
- fillings
- root canals
- extractions
Tratments like: full dentures, bridges, root canals on molars, crowns, extractions of unexposed wisdom teeth and implants will not be offered.

Mission of Mercy will be organizing this event with the financial help of its main sponsor, Delta Dental and other donations from individuals and organizations. Also.. many of Delta Dental employees will volunteering during the duration of the clinic.
